The "Product models" module lets you reference all of your products, manage their information (descriptions, attributes, photos, prices, taxes), and control their availability across your various sales channels.
The catalog is built around a two-level structure:
- The model: the reference product sheet (e.g. "Nike Air Force 1 Low White").
- The product (or variant): each size variation linked to a model (e.g. "Nike Air Force 1 Low White — size 42 EU").
This organization lets you centralize shared information (name, brand, color, photos, categories) at the model level, while managing each size individually for stock, price, and sales tracking.
Good to know — If you use the ERP purely for B2B (business to business) sales, without e-commerce or a Shopify integration, certain fields related to web publishing (SEO, display status, Shopify taxonomy, dropshipping price) won't appear in the interface. The documentation mentions them for completeness, but they only matter to you if your setup includes an online sales channel.
Understanding the units: model vs product
The model
A model is the parent sheet of an item. It groups together:
- The product's identity: SKU, name, brand, color, range, customs reference.
- The media (photos) shared by all of its variants.
- The size chart type, which determines the available sizes.
- The categories in which the product appears in the catalog.
- Associations with other models (similar products, replacements).
A model cannot be put into stock directly. It serves as the logical reference for its child products.
The prices shown on a model are calculated automatically from the prices of its child products (lowest price in stock, lowest dropshipping price, etc.). You do not enter a price manually on a model.
The product (size variant)
A product is a size variation of a model. It carries:
- Its own size (the "size" attribute), with automatic US / UK / EU / CM equivalences thanks to the size charts.
- Its own selling prices (retail, promo, dropshipping).
- Its own applicable VAT.
Stock entries are linked at the product level. When you add a physical item to stock, it's linked to a product (so, a specific size) and to its parent model.

The size chart type is required on a model. It's the combination of brand + size chart type that lets the ERP know which sizes to offer and how to convert between systems (US, UK, EU, CM).
