It occasionally happens that an item becomes out of sync between the ERP and Rezomatic (for example: the item was modified in Rezomatic, the point of sale was temporarily unavailable when the data was sent, a connection error…). You don't need to contact support: there is a simple tip for relaunching the synchronization of a unit.
Tip: edit the comment to relaunch synchronization
Any modification to a stock unit triggers a new send to Rezomatic. The quickest and safest way is to edit the Comment field:
- Open the sheet for the unit in question (from the Stock list, click Edit).
- In the Comment section (at the bottom of the main column), add a character (a space, a period, anything).
- Click Save.
When saved, the ERP automatically sends the up-to-date item sheet back to Rezomatic. You can then go back to the sheet and remove the added character if you wish (saving again will trigger another send, but that's not a problem).
Why the comment field? Because it's a free-text field with no business impact or risk of side effects. Modifying other fields (status, price, city…) would also trigger resynchronization, but with consequences for other systems (Shopify, GOAT, StockX…). The comment field stays neutral.
When resynchronization has no effect
If, after editing the comment, the item still doesn't appear in Rezomatic, check in this order:
- Is the purchase VAT filled in on the unit? Without it, nothing is sent.
- Tools > Rezomatik Logs: does the
update_articleevent appear at the time of your change? If it appears with an error (error_update_article), the error details are displayed. - Is the Rezomatic point of sale reachable on TGM's side? A temporary outage of their cloud service can cause the calls to fail (errors are logged).
