The Excel export produces an .xlsx file in the import template format: the same column labels. You can edit it and import it again. At import time, you choose which columns to apply.
Export of a selection (stock list)
Bulk action Excel export on the ticked units: the file downloads immediately (synchronously).
Full export
Excel export button in the list's header: applies the current filters and search, then starts a background export:
- An export task is created.
- You're notified as soon as the file is ready to download.
- The export is available for download from the notification center in the top right of the interface.
Export of archives
The same mechanism exists on the archive list (Stock > Archives > Excel export).

Date and price formats
- Dates are formatted
dd/mm/yyyy. An empty date is exported as00/00/0000(and read as "no date" on import). - Prices are decimal euros (e.g.
149.99). - Booleans are
0/1.
Import template file
To download a template file (correct headers + a sample row), go to the Import screen and click Download template. This file defines the exact expected structure β always use it as a starting point.
Excel import
Import lets you create or update stock units in bulk from an .xls / .xlsx file. The file must follow the template provided by the ERP (the same header labels). After upload, you choose which columns to apply.
Preparing the file
- Download the template from the Import screen.
- Fill in the rows:
- INTERNAL IDENTIFIER empty β creation (reference generated automatically).
- INTERNAL IDENTIFIER filled in β update of the existing unit. The values in the file overwrite the values in the database (equivalent to a manual edit, but in bulk).
- Follow these formats:
- SKU β Must match an existing model.
- PRODUCT NAME β Must be consistent with the SKU (the ERP checks the match).
- SIZE β Must belong to the parent model's size chart.
- CONDITION, CITY, LOCATION β Exact labels of existing attributes.
- SUPPLIER β Business name (company) or first + last name (individual).
- PURCHASE / SALES VAT β Exact labels (
-accepted to clear the sales VAT). - STATUS β Exact label (e.g. "In stock").
- COMPANY β If multi-company: exact business name.
- STORAGE β Exactly "Internal", "Partner", or "Consignment store".
- E-COMMERCE AVAILABILITY / LISTED GOAT / LISTED STOCKX / LISTED WTS β
0or1. - Dates β
dd/mm/yyyy. An empty cell clears the date. - Prices β Decimal euros (
,). - TAG β Exact label of an existing tag (or empty to remove the tag).
Import process
- Sending the file β Select the file on the Import screen and click Validate.
- Header check β If the column labels don't match the template, an error message specifies which one.
- Choose the columns β The window Select the columns to import lists the columns in the file. Untick the ones to ignore. Required columns stay ticked. Tick all / Untick all applies to the others. Confirm.
- Background processing β The Import in progress panel shows the total, the imported rows, and those still pending. You cannot start another import until this one is finished. A notification tells you when it is done. Each row goes through the following checks:
- Validation of required fields.
- Finding the model from the SKU and checking consistency with the product title.
- Finding the supplier, company, tag, status, purchase VAT, and sales VAT from the entered labels.
- Finding the attributes (size, condition, city, location) by exact label.
- Checking platform accounts: if you enable "LISTED GOAT" without a main GOAT account configured on the company, the row is flagged as an error. Same for GOAT DS and StockX.
- If everything is valid: the unit is created or updated, amounts excl./incl. VAT are recalculated, GOAT and StockX listings are handled (creation or deferred removal), and the status lock is applied if needed for locking statuses.
- Result β A summary table: each row is shown with an
OKbadge (edit link to the unit) or anErrorbadge (message in red explaining the cause). - Automatic cleanup β Once all rows have been processed, the queue is purged. Accumulated StockX listings are sent to StockX in bulk to limit the number of calls.
Clearing the import queue
The Clear import table button removes your pending rows. Useful if the import looks stuck (check the row after the last imported one), if the file was poorly prepared, or to start fresh. If several users have imports running at the same time, the action only purges your own rows.
Tips
- Bulk updates: export the units to change, make your edits (status, size, condition, location, prices, listingsβ¦), then re-import while keeping the INTERNAL IDENTIFIER column.
- Avoiding marketplace desync: if you change the SIZE or the SKU of a unit listed on GOAT/StockX via import, the system will automatically delist it from those marketplaces.
- Multiple users: if several users import at the same time, each one only sees their own pending rows.
Common errors
- Incorrect header β Number or label of columns differs from the template.
- Unknown internal identifier β The reference entered doesn't exist (typo, or it's archived).
- Model not found β The SKU doesn't exist in the catalog.
- Name inconsistent with the SKU β The title doesn't match the model; correct the title or the SKU.
- Attribute value not found β A city, location, condition, size, tag, VAT, status, supplier, or company label doesn't match any record.
- Unknown storage type β Text other than "Internal / Partner / Consignment store".
- Missing platform account β You enable
LISTED GOAT(or DS, or StockX) on a company without a configured account.
Error messages are shown row by row in the import table: correct the file only on these rows, then re-import the corrected file.
