The stock transfer module (Stock > Transfer) lets you change the location and/or status of a group of units in bulk. Ideal for quickly processing a physical reception, a move between warehouses, or a zone change (e.g. moving into a shipping zone).
How it works
- Add the products to transfer
- Enter the internal reference or scan the barcode in the "Add a product from stock" field.
- The unit is added to the "Products to transfer" list. The counter at the top of the panel updates.
- Duplicates are detected (an audible alert plus an error toast).
- Set the new location (optional)
- Storage type — Internal / Partner / Consignment store.
- City — New city.
- Location — New rack/bin.
- Set the new status (optional)
- Free selection from the list of active statuses.
- Confirm
- Confirm transfer: applies the changes.
- Confirm transfer and start new: applies the changes then reloads the page to start a new transfer.
Business rules applied
- Sold units excluded — Units whose reference starts with
V(internal sale) or whose status issold,delivered, orinvoicedare rejected: an error message specifies exactly which reference and status is blocking. - GOAT consign units — A unit with the
goat-consignstatus (locked) is automatically unlocked if a new status is applied, to allow the transfer. - Reserved units — If a unit is in
reserved-weborreserved-cart-webstatus, its status does not change during the transfer (but its location does). - Partial changes — If you only fill in the location (without a status), or vice versa, only the filled-in part is updated.
