Statuses form the backbone of tracking for every unit. They are managed under Tools > Availability statuses, with a label and a color.
Standard statuses
| Typical label | Role |
|---|---|
| In stock | Unit ready to be sold. The "pivot" status of the lifecycle. |
| Listed | Unit placed with a consignment store (e.g. a GOAT consign shipment). |
| Picking | Unit reserved by an ongoing restock (see GOAT/StockX picking). |
| Reserved online | Unit held by a pending site order. |
| Online cart | Unit reserved while a cart is being completed. |
| Sold | Unit sold, awaiting delivery or invoicing. |
| Delivered | Unit delivered to the customer. |
| Invoiced | Unit linked to an issued invoice. Locking status. |
| Invoiced in store | Unit sold at the in-store checkout (Rezomatic or internal checkout). Locking status. |
| GOAT consign | Unit physically at GOAT under consignment. Locking status. |
| Lost / Not delivered / Returned / Write-off / Gift | End-of-life or exception statuses. |
The labels shown in the interface depend on the language. The business logic relies on the French slug (above). You can create your own additional statuses from the Statuses screen.
Locking statuses
Certain statuses lock the stock sheet:
- The "Availability status" field becomes greyed out.
- A standard user can no longer change it.
The default locking statuses are: invoiced, invoiced-in-store, goat-consign. The idea is to prevent a product that has already been invoiced (and so recorded in an accounting document) from being changed by mistake.
Side effects of a status change
- To a status other than In stock / Picking: if the unit is listed on GOAT or StockX, a delisting task is automatically triggered.
- On Shopify: a change of status or e-commerce availability triggers a Shopify re-sync for that product.
- To invoiced / invoiced-in-store / goat-consign: the sheet is locked.
