Tags let you freely classify your stock entries according to business criteria that don't fit within statuses (e.g. originating point of sale, marketing operation, purchase batch, etc.).
Characteristics of a tag
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | The tag's label (e.g. "TLS Toulouse", "Pickup Pro"). |
| Color | Display color used for the dot in the stock list. |
| Status | Active / Inactive. An inactive tag no longer appears in the selector. |
| Order | Position in the selection list. |
| Associated customer | Default customer third party (used by certain WTB / pickup automations). |
| Associated city | Default value for the city attribute. |
| Associated companies | Restricts the tag's display to certain companies (multi-company). |
| Exchange tags | Allows an automatic tag change to be triggered in certain contexts (advanced configurations). |
| Unlocks shipments | Indicates whether a unit with this tag can be added to a shipment even if its status would normally block it. |
Assignment and use
- The tag is set on the stock entry's edit form (the Tag field).
- In the list, the tag is shown as a colored dot in the "Tag" column.
- A Tag filter is available in the filter bar (with a "None" option for units without a tag).
- The tag is exported/imported in the Excel file (the TAG column → the exact expected label).
Managing tags
Tags are managed under Tools > Tags. From there, you can create, edit, and deactivate tags, and configure their associations (customer, city, companies).
