Overview
The Country attribute is a somewhat special reference list: unlike other attributes (free-form labels), countries are pre-loaded in the database with their 2-letter ISO code (FR, BE, DEβ¦). You don't create them β you enable or disable the ones that are relevant to you.
You manage countries from Tools > Countries.
List
- Search by country name.
- Status filter: Active / Inactive.
- Columns: Label, Status (toggle), VAT exemption? (if e-commerce is enabled).
Enable / disable a country
- On a single row: toggle in the Status column.
- In bulk: check several rows then click Enable all or Disable all in the bulk actions panel.
An inactive country disappears from the country selectors on customer, supplier, address records, and so on. Handy for keeping only the countries you actually sell to in your lists.
VAT exemption (if e-commerce is enabled)
For each country, a dedicated VAT exemption? toggle lets you mark countries where sales are exempt from VAT (typically countries outside the EU). When this toggle is enabled:
- On the e-commerce site, a customer from that country sees prices excl. VAT.
- When invoicing, the system automatically applies the Exempt VAT rate instead of the French VAT rate.
Good to know β This column only appears if e-commerce is enabled on your tenant. In pure B2B, VAT is handled differently (based on the customer's intra-EU VAT number).
Activity log
Overview
The activity log records every change made in the system: who did what, when, and from which device. This is the global traceability tool β distinct from the history kept on each individual record (stock, invoice, orderβ¦), which only tracks changes affecting that specific object.
In practice, this is useful for:
- Diagnosing an unexpected change ("who changed this unit? when?").
- Auditing a sensitive operation ("who unlocked this invoice?").
- Tracking a user's activity ("what did so-and-so do this week?").
You'll find the log under Tools > Activity log.
Filters
| Filter | Type | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Search | Text | Searches the names of the items that were changed. |
| User | Selection | Filters actions by a specific user. |
| Action | Selection | Creation / Modification / Deletion. |
| Data type | Selection | Stock / Invoices / Purchase orders / Third parties / etc. |
| Date | Date range | Filters by the date of the action. |
Columns shown
- User β Who performed the action (or blank if the action came from an automated system such as a Shopify, GOAT, or StockX sync).
- Date β Date + time (dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm).
- Action β Colored badge (Creation green / Modification blue / Deletion red).
- Data type β Module involved (Stock, Invoice, Purchase order, etc.).
- Row ID β Internal identifier of the item that was changed.
- Item name β Readable title (e.g. product name, invoice number).
- Technical details β Device/system/browser icons plus IP address, with detailed tooltips.
- Changes β View changes link: opens a window with a field-by-field Before / After table, plus an optional Comment explaining the source ("Stock import", "Shopify webhook", "GOAT sync", etc.).
"Change details" window
Clicking View changes opens a window with a table showing:
- Before β Field values before the change.
- After β Values after the change.
- Comment β Context for the action (for example: "Updated following Shopify webhook", "Stock import file", "GOAT sync").
Statuses are shown there as human-readable labels (not internal slugs), to make reading easier.
Identifying automatic actions
Operations carried out by the system (marketplace syncs, bulk imports, scheduled tasks) can be identified:
- Either by a dedicated comment in the window ("Shopify webhook", "Stock import file"β¦).
- Or by the absence of a user (the User field is blank) or an IP address.
Good to know β The log is immutable: no entry can be edited or deleted from the interface. This is a compliance tool β everything that happened remains available to view. Entries are automatically purged from the log after 3 months.
