Overview
Availability statuses define the possible states of a stock unit throughout its lifecycle: In stock, Listed, Sold, Invoiced, Lost, etc. They are central to operational tracking — it's based on statuses that the system decides whether or not to send a unit to marketplaces, include it in exports, or lock it once invoiced.
You manage statuses from Tools > Availability statuses.
List
- Search by name.
- Columns: Label (with color), Products with this status can be ordered (Yes / No), Status (Enabled / Disabled), Actions.
Create / edit a status
New button or the edit icon on a row. Quick add window:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Status title | Multi-language label (French + other languages if enabled). Appears in selectors and badges. |
| Products with this status can be ordered | Toggle. If Yes, units with this status are considered available for sale (on Shopify, GOAT, etc.). If No, they are removed from sales channels. |
| Color | Color of the badge shown in lists and stock records. |
| Status | Enabled / Disabled. A newly created status is enabled. A disabled status remains visible in the history but can no longer be assigned to new units. |
Standard statuses
Certain standard statuses are created during setup and used by the system's internal logic. You can edit them (label, color), but they cannot be deleted. The main ones:
| Typical label | Role | |
|---|---|---|
| In stock | Unit ready to be sold. | |
| Listed | Unit placed with a consignment store. | |
| Picking | Unit reserved by an ongoing restock. | |
| Reserved online / Online cart | Unit blocked by a website order / an active cart. | |
| Sold / Delivered / Invoiced | Stages of the sales cycle. Invoiced locks the record. | |
| Invoiced in store | Unit sold at the in-store till. Locking. | |
| GOAT consign | Unit physically held at GOAT. Locking. | |
| Lost / Not delivered / Returned / Write-off / Gift | End-of-life or exception statuses. |
See the Stock documentation for the full mechanics of side effects (automatic delisting from GOAT/StockX, locking upon invoicing, etc.).
Good to know — You can create your own additional statuses (for example To repair, Authentication in progress, Reserved for event). What matters is that the standard statuses above remain present and active, since the system's business logic relies on them.
