Overview
Tags are free business labels that you apply to your stock units to classify them according to criteria that don't fit in statuses (original point of sale, marketing campaign, purchase batch, target resale channel, etc.).
Each tag has:
- A linked customer (the third party the unit is intended for, or "reserved" for).
- A color (for quick visual identification in lists).
- Assigned companies (in multi-company setups, lets you restrict where the tag can be used).
- An active/inactive state (an inactive tag no longer appears in the selector).
You manage tags from Tools > Tags.
List
- Search by name.
- Columns: Name (with colored badge), Customer, City, Status (toggle), Actions.
- Reorder button: changes the display order of tags in selectors.
Create a tag
New button: opens a quick add window.
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | Label for the tag (e.g. "TLS Toulouse", "Pickup Pro", "Reserved VIP"). Required. |
| Customer | Third party linked to the tag. Required. Used to show that tagged units are intended for this customer. |
| City | Default City attribute value linked to the tag (useful for pre-filling). |
| Color | Display color (color picker). Used for the colored badge in lists. |
| Interchangeable tags (editing only) | List of other tags considered equivalent (so a shipment to another customer carrying a "sibling" tag isn't blocked). |
| Do not block shipments to other customers | Toggle. If enabled, a unit tagged for customer A can still be shipped to another customer. |
| Status | Enabled / Disabled. A disabled tag no longer appears in the stock record selector. |
Linked companies
When editing an existing tag, the Linked companies icon lets you restrict the tag's visibility to certain companies within the tenant (useful in multi-company setups to keep operations separate).
Reorder
Reorder button at the top of the list: opens a drag-and-drop view to change the display order of active tags across every selector. Handy for bringing your most frequently used tags to the top.
Good to know — The tag is exported/imported in the stock Excel file (the TAG column expects the exact label). See the Stock documentation for details.
