The Administration menu brings together the governance of your system: who has access to what (Users), which permissions those users carry (Roles), and what your legal entities are (Companies). This is at the heart of security and multi-entity configuration.
Administration
βββ Users β who logs into the system, with what role, for which companies
βββ Roles β permission profiles (Administrator, Salesperson, etc.)
βββ Companies β legal entities of the tenant (in multi-company setups)These three sections work together:
- You first create the Companies (the legal entities that invoice, purchase, and ship).
- You define the Roles (Administrator, Salesperson, Picker, Warehouse operatorβ¦) along with the matching permissions.
- You create the Users, assign them a role, and optionally restrict them to certain companies.
Good to know β In a single-company setup, the Companies section simply contains your one company, and the "Company visibility" field does not appear on user records. Roles and Users remain fully used.
