A deposit covers the case where you hand units from one company to another: company A owned the unit, and transfers it to company B, which becomes the new owner (this is reflected by the creation of a new stock unit on company B's side).
Step 1 — Internal deposit information
Menu Commerce > Internal warehouses, New button.
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Receiving company | Company that receives the units. Required. Shown only in multi-company setups. |
| Deposit type | Select Deposit. Required. |
Step 1 — New storage location
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| City | Destination city where the new units will be stored. Required. |
You can create a new City value on the fly if you have permission to do so.
Step 2 — Add the products
Add a product from stock field: autocomplete on available units, or barcode scan on mobile.
Each time you add one, a line is added to the Added products table with:
- SKU / Size / Internal ID — The unit's reference.
- Name — The product's title.
- Owner — The unit's original company (a visual reminder).
You can remove a line using the trash icon.
Step 3 — Save
Save buttons:
- Create — Creates the deposit.
- Create and go back — Creates and returns to the list.
- Create and new — Creates and opens a blank form.
- Create and duplicate — Creates, then opens a new form pre-filled with the same information.
Upon confirmation:
- The deposit briefly moves to Being validated.
- The system creates new units on the receiving company's side, with their own internal reference (barcode), at the In stock status in the destination city.
- The original units are marked as transferred (they leave the original company's active stock).
- The deposit moves to the Validated status.
Good to know — Mixed case
If you enter units belonging to several different companies within the same deposit, the system automatically splits the operation into several deposits or transfers:
- Units already owned by the receiving company become a store transfer (a simple change of location).
- Units from another company become a deposit (with a change of owner).
You will then see several lines appear in the list — one per original company — all linked to your operation.
