Useful when you regularly invoice the same service to the same customer (subscription, recurring service, monthly delivery…): rather than re-entering everything, duplicating an existing invoice keeps all the information and lines.
How to duplicate
On the Invoices list, open More on a row, then Duplicate:
- The action is available for a draft and for an invoice or credit note that is already validated.
- The system creates a new invoice, always as a Draft, prefilled with:
- All the information: issuing company, buyer, payment method, VAT, legal notices, comment, logo.
- All the lines (stock + service) with their prices.
- The new invoice opens in edit mode.
You can then adjust what is needed (date, lines added or removed, prices) before saving and validating.
Good to know — Duplicating does not change the original invoice. A validated invoice stays locked: you can no longer change its lines or amounts. The copy is an independent draft.
Duplicating from the edit page
On the edit page of a draft, a Duplicate button is also available at the top of the page — same behavior as from the list.
