An internal sale represents the transfer of one or more stock units between two companies belonging to the same ERP space (the module is only available if your tenant manages several companies). It's the operation that lets you move stock between your companies within your space while maintaining accounting traceability: one company sells, the other buys, and an internal invoice documents the transaction.

Internal invoice
(from Company A to Company B)Specifically, when an internal sale (IS) is confirmed:
- The original units on the selling company's side are marked as sold and get a "V" prefix added to the product reference (e.g. 2510250000019 becomes V2510250000019). The original product and the IS are linked on the product sheet.
- New stock units are created on the buying company's side, with their own reference (barcode) and a purchase price equal to the transfer price. The new product and the IS are linked via the "Original internal sale" field on the product sheet.
- An invoice draft is generated (between the two companies of the tenant).
- The new units can immediately be sold, shipped, listed on a marketplace, etc.
Statuses of an internal sale
The status indicates where the sale stands in its life cycle. The current flow is:
Pending → Being invoiced → Invoiced
↓
Returned (if partially or fully returned)| Status | Color | Role |
|---|---|---|
| Pending | Blue | Sale created, lines entered, amounts set. Freely editable. No actual stock movement at this stage. |
| Being invoiced | Blue | Transitional step while the internal invoice is being generated (quick). |
| Invoiced | Grey | Standard final status: the internal invoice is issued, the new units exist on the buying company's side, the operation is recorded. |
| Returned | Green | All lines have been returned via the Return internal sale action (see dedicated section). |
