A purchase order groups together the information related to buying one or more products from a supplier: who the buyer is (your company), who the seller is, which items, at what price, and on what VAT and payment terms. It's the entry point for stock in the ERP: as soon as a purchase order is delivered and received, stock units are created automatically and feed the stock module.
A purchase order covers several scenarios:
- Standard purchase from a wholesaler, a brand, or a professional intermediary (with a supplier invoice).
- Second-hand purchase from a reseller (an individual or a business), with models created on the fly if needed.
